​By command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, it is hereby announced that His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented for Yang Mulia Awang Haji Shamsol bin Haji Omar, Director of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs to be promoted and to be appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religion), Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The date of promotion and appointment of the said officer is effective from Monday, 14th of Zulkaedah, 1446 corresponding to 12th of May, 2025.
